Established in October 1933 as Lewis S. Horton and Company, Real Estate Associates, Inc. has evolved from the general insurance field to a real estate appraisal company. As this field has grown and changed, Real Estate Associates has incorporated the latest technology to meet the needs of our clients. Our assets include one of the largest, most complete databases in upstate South Carolina, networked computers, scanners, printers and digital cameras. Our staff is dedicated to responding to a client's request for different services in a timely fashion with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality. All of our current appraisers are Certified Residential, which requires additional experience and education beyond that of a licensed appraiser or trainee apprentice.

Our main coverage area includes Anderson, Greenville, Pickens and Oconee counties with additional experience and services provided in Laurens, Greenwood, Abbeville and Spartanburg counties. Quotes for fees are available upon request and are very competitive with other appraisal firms with similar experience and dedication.
